- Steel or Wood Platforms:
- Standard platform options include smooth steel, deck plate steel, or wood flooring
- Wood platforms of dense southern yellow pine are pressure treated and available in a black or natural finish
- Heavy duty and extra heavy duty platforms are also available with 1-3/8" Apitong hardwood floors (at additional cost)
- Benefit: Choice of flooring makes the platform adaptable to whatever job you require. Pressure treated wood platforms are less susceptible to damage from rot or termites.
- Undercoating
- Understructure of platforms are covered with a tough oil-based undercoating which meets all environmental regulations. Benefit: An additional layer of rust protection.
- Deeper Reinforced Pockets
- New pocket design extends from the bottom of the platform rail to the top. This holds optional stake racks or sides firmly in place.
- Each pocket is reinforced with a heavy gauge steel box welded into the side rail Benefit: New design minimizes movement of the stakes/sides. Rattling is significantly decreased.
- Reinforced Steel Girder Understructure
- Two full-length longitudinal sills of formed steel on regular duty models and structural steel on heavy-duty models and extra heavy-duty models.
- Reinforced front to rear on both sides with multiple gussets.
- Longitudinals and full-width heavy gauge cross members are interlocked and arc welded to the one-piece steel side and end rails. Benefit: Unsurpassed strength and rigidity to support your heaviest loads.
- Platform Rails and Standard Lighting
- Platform rails are roll-formed
- Platform edges meet at 90*° corners
- Lights are rubber grommeted and have impact resistant reflective lenses
- Includes wiring harness for clearance, marker, and identification lights (not installed) Benefit: The roll-forming machine produces exact-formed parts with pre-punched pocket holes. Recessed lights and impact resistant lenses protect the lights from damage.
- Top Coat
- Top coated with a two-component, high gloss black urethane paint
- The paint is sprayed on using a sophisticated computer controlled mixing system Benefit: The mixing system ensures precise coverage for proper coating performance and a high gloss, durable shine.

From the South: Take NJ Turnpike Exit 15X; pay toll and follow ramp through 2 traffic lights (North and South Road) to 3rd light. Make right onto New County Road. Cross railroad tracks and then bear left at the fork onto County Avenue. Meadowland Ford is 3/4 mile up on the right hand side, at the corner of Secaucus Road.
From the North: Take NJ Turnpike South to Exit 17; pay toll and bear right. Follow ramp to traffic light; make left onto Paterson Plank Road. At first light, make left onto County Avenue. Meadowland Ford is 1 mile down on left.
From the Northwest: Take NJ Route 3 East past Giants Stadium and Meadowlands Parkway exits. Exit right onto Service Road for Secaucus/NJ Turnpike. At Exxon Station, make right; follow street to end (light). At traffic light, make left; at next light (300 yards), make right onto County Avenue. Meadowland Ford is 1 mile down on left.
From the Southwest: Take NJ Route 280 East to the NJ Turnpike North (Eastern spur). Follow directions for From the South above.
From the East: Take NJ Route 3 past Mill Creek Mall exit; take exit for Secaucus/Local Roads to traffic light. At light, make left onto Paterson Plank Road; follow road to 4th light (County Avenue). At light, make right onto County Avenue. Meadowland Ford is 1 mile down on left.
From Jersey City Area: Take Tonnelle Avenue to Secaucus Road exit; take Secaucus Road West for 1 mile to corner of County Avenue; Meadowland Ford is on your left.
